Hi! Normally I teach Kindergarten but I recently moved to another state and I haven't gotten my teachers license in the new state yet. So I'm going to be teaching Pre-K.

My question is, what kind of resources do you use for cute teaching ideas and classroom management ideas? I am not really familiar with working with the 4's. I did get a copy of the August/September Mailbox for preschool.

Any professional books or websites geared toward preschool teachers would be great! Thanks.

I teach in what NJ calls an Abbott classroom so I have to be licensed. But that also means that my hands tied when it comes to things that I can/cannot do in the classroom. I'm not even allowed to have bulletin boards :guilty: If you need bulletin boards ideas you can google it and look at the images. I miss doing boards can you tell? :) I also love www.perpetualpreschool.com and www.teachers.net. Teachers.net has great message boards for different age levels. If I can't find what I need on those sites I usually just google what I'm looking for. Good luck and if you have any questions just ask. I've been teaching pre-K for 10 years and I love it!

Check out everythingpreschool.com I have found some great arts and crafts for the summer for my kids. I also am a preschool SLP and we use lots of the recipes for sensory activities. Enjoy your new job!
