Question for poly lovers?

While I do love other deluxe resorts like GF, BWI, and AKL, there is something about the Poly that makes it #1 for me still.

I don't get it either, GF and AKL have better CL lounges and better pools, BWI has a better location (for us) but yet I still love and yearn for the Poly.

I know this is going to make me sound like a crazy person...maybe I am but there is a smell at the Poly that is the "Disney Smell" for me. When I walk into the lobby it hits me and it just brings back all my favorite memories of WDW. My sister is the only other person that has ever admitted to understanding what I am talking about...does anyone else know this feeling?? Or am I just a weirdo?

Well, Yeah I know how you feel thats why I asked the original question. I think we have decided on a poly/bc split, but thats what I had decided on this year, and then ended up changing it at the last minute to 12 nights at poly

Nope, you are NOT the only one! My family went to WDW as a kid. When I went with my kids in 2009, it had the same smell....exactly as I remembered it! My sister says the same thing! I don't know what it is, but I completely agree with you.

I love the Poly, but I also love trying new resorts.
