Question for people who have taken a BTS Tour

We have an upcoming trip to WDW 11/27-12/3 for our (belated) honeymoon. We decided very last minute to try to add a day on, as it’s something we have always talked about doing. However, after talking to the airlines, we can’t switch our tickets at all and they are non-refundable.

My next thought was add the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour on one of our mornings. Instead of park tickets one day, we have MVMCP tickets. Would those count to get into the gates for the tour? If not, we are planning on doing the tour on DHS day and hopping over afterwards. Just thought I’d check with the experts first.

No. It has to be a regular park ticket entitlement.

Sorry, but no. The MVMCP tickets are only good for entry into Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00pm on your party day. They cannot be used to enter any park, including Magic Kingdom.

Also, the BTS in your title could be confusing for some. There is a tour called Behind the Seeds, which can be abbreviated this way as well.

I hope you find a good solution. I think the HS day sounds like a good option if you have park hoppers. Start at MK with the tour, then hop over to HS for your fast passes, etc. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the fast responses! I was thinking that would be the case, but just thought I would check anyway. Looks like we will try park hopping. I’m really interested in the tour and The Husband really wants pics on empty Main Street!

All tour guests enter with regular guests at 8:00 and check-in at TST. You may have time for photos but Main Street won’t be empty.

I think MK doesn’t open until 9 the day in question (11/29), but I may be wrong?

All guests can enter at 8:00a for a 9:00a opening now because MK entry timing changed a few months ago.

We had an 8:00a KTTK Tour last month and we entered through the Breakfast/Tour touchpoint and then were held at the tunnels until 8:00a when all guests were allowed to pass through the tunnels.

No. All the Tour people head into the park with all the other guests.
