Question for owners of Lite Brite

We just got Lite Brite today and it came with 16 black sheets (12 with pictures, 4 free form). We've already used about 5 of them. Since you really can't reuse the free form sheets, do they sell refills? I'm having trouble getting on the hasbro website and I never recall seeing the refill packs before. Can anyone tell me if they do sell these or do you just use black construction paper? Thanks!!!

It's been years since my DSs were of the "Lite Brite" age but I do remember seeing refill packs in Toys R Us. The idea to use black construction paper is great, too!

Yep, the sell refills. You can buy them at Toys R Us, they come in all different "themes". We are using the Peanuts theme right now with our Lite Bright. I have to say this is one toy we have gotten our money out of of about 50 times over. The kids never tire of it, and its a nice, quiet, creative toy. I love it myself.

You probably could find those refills at Target as well.

I still have my sons lite brite, he is 20. he doesn't use it i just have it stored away. There is no more Child world but I got that and my refills there, I am sure Toys R US has the refills

I loved Lite Brite. My DS totally and completely ignored it from the moment it came home til the day I chucked it.

He doesn't have a creative bone in his body.

But then again.....neither do I....

And yes, you can get refills. I thought I'd need them so I bought them when I purchased Lite Brite. They got chucked also.......

LOL Gina! Isn't that odd, both of my boys love Lite Brite.

I guess when we finally get our boys together we'll have to break out the Legos and Yu-Gi-Oh's..........
