Hey everyone! I'm going to have some leftover points from 2021 to use in 2022, but the only way that my current vacations will work is if I stay at Old key West in May and October (early).

I normally book things at 11 months, but my points are from Boulder ridge. What is your perspective about availability during these times booking at 7 months? I can't really use this October as an example because of the anniversary.

Thanks for any tips or insight!

Early May could be very possible at seven months, but late May might be more difficult. October will be harder at seven months.

Right at 7 months in a studio in May is possible. October would be more difficult, but possible. It all also depends on all these excess points out there, especially all the international owners when they are allowed to travel.

I think you would have a reasonablely good chance at obtaining a booking especially in early to mid May. October could be more difficult and require you having some flexibility on dates and # of nights you are trying to book.

You have a good chance I would think especially in May (October will likely be harder due to the anniversary). I think there are probably still a lot of people like myself that either banked their points or used excess points on other places like Hilton Head (which we loved!) that still aren’t quite ready to use their points at WDW.
