How fast is the turnaround for the gift cards as a rule? I would like to cash in for our June trip. Thanks!

Like others have said, I cash in as soon as I get to the point total. I've had gift cards take a week, and others take 6. And rewards come & go, sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't. And rewards programs come & go too, but you usually have some time to cash in.

I've been cashing in MyPoints for the prepaid Visa, and using that to buy gift cards in the Disney Store.

I was going to do this but I saw that the Walgreen's $50 GC was quite a few less points, so now I have to try and buy the Disney gift card with it. Some have said to buy something else alongwith the Disney GC at Walgreens, and at checkout,first run the Walgreens GC, then pay for the balance. At it seems to allow it.
