We are looking to possibly buy 2 Mix Maxes for our 2 DS for xmas, but here's a question I can't seem to find an answer to when I read about the Mix Max. I know you can buy SD cards with Disney movies on them, but can I rip the DVDs I already own onto my hard drive and then convert them to the format Mix Max uses and load them on SD cards to use on the MIX MAX?

I'm also considering just buying portable DVDs, but we've gone through three sets in 7 years. They don't hold up well.

I have found you can't just upload DVDs to your computer! There is a way to do it, but it isn't easy. On ebay there are people that sell super easy instructions on how to do it. I haven't done that yet, but want to. Maybe someone here will be able to tell us, show us, how it works for FREE! :D

But you can do it and I think you can put many movies on one SD card!!!

OH yeah and find a reputable seller on ebay to buy them. I got mine on there for $40! Brand new in the box.

I know there is free software out there rip DVDs onto my hard drive. I just can't seen to find what format MIXMAX uses. Hope somebody out there knows...
