Looking for a car for back and forth to work duties...

have always liked the Miata's, I enjoy driving, used ones are cheap, but not sure If I could fit behind the wheel....

what do you think?

You will fit but I know of two tall people who in an accident have had their heads slam into the windshield frame which kind of tilts back towards the driver in a Miata. I was looking at one myself (6'3") and the frame was too close for comfort so I passed?

um no - with the top down maybe. My husband is 6'4" and I had a Miata when I met him and he was always hunched over when the top was up his head was over the windshield when the top was down.
He has a long torso though...

No you will not- My DH who is 6.4 cannot drive in the car with the top up-just does not fit-also the leg room for him is horrible (my MIL has one)

My friend has one, in fact she belongs to a "Miata Club" and I love riding in it because I call it a car finally MADE FOR MY HEIGHT! :teeth: I'm 4'11!!

my 6'4" brother LOVED the miata...but just couldn't fit in it comfortably.

he has an Audi TT convertible...fits fine top down or up.

I used to have a Miata (it was my first car). I am 5'9 with very long legs and I could barely fit in it. I would say anyone taller would have problems.

I've always said "it's a short man's world...."

air plane seats, rides at WDW, cars....none are built for us giants

Nope, you won't fit. Buy it for me instead. I'm only 5'4". :teeth: Let me know when you need my address for delivery.

You forgot beds, clothes, older homes and some basements.

I owned one with ex husband, and he was 6'3". He just had to make sure that he ducked his head when getting out when the top was up.

I'll never have your problem. Fortunately, I don't need pedal blocks to reach!

Anyone else think a Miata is a "girly" car? :confused3
My friends and I used to say that the only man we wouldn't date is one that drove a Miata.Totally a girlie car.

and don't even get me started on hotel showers....nothing like having to get on your knees to wash your hair.
