Question for Grand Floridian Experts

DH and I are doing a vow renewal through Disney Fairy Tale Weddings. I am staying at the GF the night before the "wedding" and will have to wake up at about 3 am to get ready for an early morning portrait session at the Magic Kingdom. It occurred to me today that I should probably eat something for "breakfast" while I am getting ready. Am I correct to assume there is 24 hour room service? Is there anyplace on the DIS where I could see a GF room service menu?

Hi, yes there is 24 hr room service but the selections get limited in the off hours....

You can order bfast items from the "Early Risers" section of "Late Night Dining"....(which is from 10 pm to 6 am)

Thank you so much! I couldn't figure out how to find that. Thank you for posting so quickly! Now, I can add that to my list of things to do when I wake up that morning. I get really woozy and grumpy if I go too long without eating and I was worried that in all the excitement I'd be waiting until our pre-reception at 11 am to get real food.

Another thing I thought of is that they do have preorder cards for bfast that you can hang on your door knob....you select your items and choose the time for delivery...I just am not sure if you could do that so early in the wee hours of the morning...they might only start that at 6 am. But maybe you could preorder by phone so that your food is THERE for you in your room at a certain specified time in the am.

The GF is fantastic! Enjoy your stay.

That would have been a great idea, but I think I have to meet the photographer in the lobby at 5:30 am. I did notice that by the time we get back from our portrait session, the concierge lounge will be open, so I should be able to grab something else small to eat if I am having low sugar issues.
