I am in a big debate with a friend, I am driving from Roanoke VA to Port Canaveral, I know that I can get to Daytona in about 11 to 11 1/2 hours, how long does it take to get from Daytona to Port Canaveral?
this friend told me it would take me 16 hours to get from Roanoke to Port Canaveral, what do you all think?

I would say that it would take 1 - 1.5 hours to get from Daytona to Port Canaveral.

yahoo travel says the whole trip (just entering city names not exact addresses) is about 739 miles and 11 hours 22 minutes driving time.

So I would say you are right. Your friend is way off.

Yep...it was an hour or so..not much longer. of coarse, that depends how heave your foot is . You can show your friend on mapquest how many miles and time it takes from Daytona to the port
