question for disneyland experts!!

Hi,
I have been to Disney World, but am interested in trying Disneyland. Do they offer discount codes for Disneyland like they do for Disney World??? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

If you want to stay on property - go for the Season Pass or Expedia (especially last minute)

It is not as important as WDW to stay on property. Most of the hotels/motels seem to have shuttles.

DL/DD/DCA are all right next to each other. The "best " hotel "Grand Californian" is wonderful. The prices are not. It was a very very nice splurge and we had some great memories. DL Hotel is nice as well. I have never stayed at Paradise Pier myself. Try Mousesavers.com for up to date deals.

We go to DLR frequently so we care about cost - if you go Priceline - 3 star (Disney Area) for $30 - $45 unless you are at peak season.

Another "sure bet" off property is the Candy Cane Inn - it is very well kept and friendly and the location is great.

Unlike with WDW, the PACKAGES at Disneyland offer excellent deals. Depending upon when you're going you can get one night free at the hotel (both onsite and offsite hotels) plus two free pass days. With the packages you will also get extras like the ability to collect multiple fast passes for different attractions at the same time.

Check out this link. You can see that The Disneyland resort is surrounded by hotels and motels that are a 5-10 minute walk. Some of them are even closer than two of the three Disney Hotels. The Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian are great places to stay though so if you can afford them I would go for it.
