Question for Comedy Warehouse Regulars!

Is there a particular night that's really good at CW? We visited in August 2004 on a Sunday night, and it was side splitting hilarious. There was a kind of big guy that was so quick, and he really set the tone for the night. I had talked some DIS folks into meeting us at AC, but the cast there that night was terrible, so we went to CW. We took DH with us in October, but CW just wasn't funny that night. The big guy wasn't there. Are there nights when they have "A" casts and "B" casts?

The cast changes around nightly in both clubs. Usually you'll see some of the same performers on consecutive nights, but not all of them. And it's also possible they might be all different... and sometimes, you might see someone you've seen performing in the AC working at the CW, and vice versa.

There are performers who are assigned to work specifically in each club (which doesn't mean they won't be asked to switch clubs for a night or so, or to work elsewhere, depending on staffing considerations) but it's difficult to tell where they'll be or what they'll be doing from night to night.

The "big guy" you're probably thinking of is Mark. He's been there since the opening in '89. Now, he is just a sub. The regulars are fantastic, but still the show relies a lot on the audience input. I prefer Tuesday and Friday shows. The crowds on Tuesday are MUCH better (fewer drunks calling out porn for everything) but Friday has the best casts. My favorite lineup is Lisa, Brian, John, Phillip, and Matt. They are usually there on Friday. Tuesday nights are usually the same with the exception of John and Matt not being there. Now that I think of it, Brian could be the "big guy" as he's really tall. If you're a passholder, Friday may be the day you'd want to go cause you can get a friend in for free. Plus, Friday is usually one of the nights Carol Stein is at the keyboards. You'll find the more you go, you'll have a favorite lineup. Many of my favorites have characters they use quite often. My favorites include Lisa as Becky, Brian as Randy Bottoms, and Phillip as Bob Headlookslikeanipple.
