Hello,

I understand the most of the club level resorts have Kahlua, Grand Marnier, Amaretto, and Bailey's available in the evenings. What drinks do you like to make with these ingredients?

Armaretto Stone Sour
Toasted Almond
Italian Sunset
Bailey's and coffee
Bailey's Alexander
Dublin Double
Bailey's Fizz

Are some of our favorites. Then of course there's always straight over ice.

Interesting to learn about the evening drinking habits of a few long time posters around here. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

For me, I just keep it going with the beer. :-)

Although back in May Poly CL had some fancy looking port out, so I had a few swigs. Blah! :crazy2: Confirmed I should just stick with the beer.

Although if it's cold out I may/may not have made an 'enhanced' coffee beverage a time or two. Sometimes the to-go cups come in very handy. :thumbsup2

I love to mix Kahlua, Bailey's, and Godiva Chocolate liquer. In the absense of chocolate, I will mix the first 2 over ice!

Port is supposed to be drunk warm, but it's much better chilled. Don't take my advice on wine, though. My first wine experience was Boone's Farm.
Bringing back some good memories with the Boone's farm reference. Remember the strawberry wine fondly back in my youth!

Me too, I'm happy with Longboard. I bought them at home after our last trip and decided they taste much better at disney.

good ol' Boones. You are taking me back to high school. That and wine coolers.

Maybe this year I will be more adventurous in the lounge. I usually use the to go cups for plain coffee but maybe I'll shake things up this year.

I was excited to see Longboard at our local Whole Foods a month or so ago so I bought a case. I'm not sure if it was old or what but it tasted horrible! Not sure if Disney gets a fresher supply? But yes, I agree, it was much better at Disney! :-)

That's too funny. Maybe Disney does get something different or fresher. My husband commented that he couldn't believe we loved those at disney.

This is all great info! In your experience, are drinks and cordials put out for guests to serve themselves, or does a CM pour for you?

Cordials are typically "out" and you can make your own beverage of choice, at least in the CLs I've been to (GF, Poly, CR, WL). For other services /beer/wine, beverages are typically served by a CM but this varies by resort. Each CL is a bit different in how alcohol service is handled.

Thank you for the info! We're staying AKL CL in a few months.

:thumbsup2 Cool, have fun! I have AKL CL on my list but just haven't found the right trip to pull the trigger. If you have specific questions, definitely head over to the CL thread, if you haven't already.
