How does your bar handle tips after a shift change?
We shoot pool at one bar and I just found out recently that the early girl (she ends at 10pm) is not getting any of the tips on all the open bar tabs. Alot of people just leave a tab running all night and pay when they are leaving. So what we are doing now is closing out with her right before she leaves so she gets the tips up to that point. I know the other option is just give her the tip when she leaves but I feel funny having a larger bill and not tipping on the whole thing.
