When you are dieting on Atkins, do you "feel" light-headed and woozy? I tried it back in February- I did lose 6 pounds the first week- but at the end of my second week (and I was eating right at 20 carbs a day) I could not shake a weird feeling. I took multivitamins daily. I naturally have low everything, my blood pressure is 90/60 regardless of weight, temperature is 96.6, blood sugar is usually low when I go for yearly check-ups, cholesterol is in the 120's- the only not low thing is my weight
So I wonder if I should just stay away from this plan or if it would get better if I went past the 2 week mark. I'm slimfasting this month and doing great and thought of jumping to Atkins, then I was told to gradually go to Atkins since SF is so high in carbs- and it started me thinking if Atkins is really good for me- I know SF isn't that great but it's getting the weight and it seems to shrink my stomach when I stick to it for a few weeks- meaning I don't feel as hungry. Hopefully I can just monitor my portions and eat everything in moderation after I go off the SF- I've just heard such great results with Atkins I thought I'd try it again.
Any experiences?
Thanks!
