Question for anyone who has stayed in a std view GV at Kidani

I understand that the two std view GVs at Kidani look out at a narrow strip of Pembe near the gates where animals come and go from the savannah. I'm interested to hear the experiences of anyone who has stayed in one of those rooms. For example, did you see your fair share of animals at certain times of the day, even if they were just leaving or entering the savannah?

I've read that animals in Pembe include okapis, red river hogs, impala, waterbuck, blue cranes and spur-winged geese, Are these the animals you see coming and going through the gate or do animals from all the savannahs pass through that area when entering or leaving?
