Question for anyone who has booked flights through Airmiles

This is probably an incredibly stupid question, but just got my suitcases out and I've realised I don't have any luggage tags, you know the ones that your Travel Co. usually issue you with before you go, so what do I put on my cases, I have my DIStags, but surely I need something a bit more official.
Travelling with Flybe if that makes any difference.

I don't get any tags when I fly to CDG - my carrier, BMI baby, puts all your ID info (just like you would on your own tag) on the sticker thing that they put around the handle of your case. Its computerised and printed out by them as they are checking me in.

We haven't been given tags for a long time as we book direct on line using e-tickets so we just make our our own. We have one set we always use on the return journey with our home deatils on then we make an outbound set each trip. We just print them out, laminate them and attatch using elastic bands.

We use our own tags . My dad laminates his and attaches to cable tie.

Top tip- put a piece of paper with your contact details in your luggage and if for any reason your label comes off and your case goes missing the airport will have your contact details - not that I would wish loosing their luggage on anyone

Rob reckons they'll be printed at the airport, I will definately make my own though, just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the tip Jackie, great idea.
