Question for AKL experts

I'm assuming all AKL suites have views of the savanna. Are all of the suites located on the Kudu & Zebra Trails only? Is one trail better than the other? Are there any bad AKL suite views? Which suites have the best views? Any suggestion before booking.

According to allearsnet.com, there are 5 one-bedroom suites and 12 two-bedroom parlor suites. "The suites are located at the end of the animal trails. From the outside of the Lodge, they are the ones located within the rounded parts of the building, with the curved balconies, topped with thatch. They are located on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors. Even the ones below 5th floor still have concierge access"

I've read lots of posts from people who have stayed in a suite, but noone seems to know if ALL suites have savanna views. I am pretty sure they do, but wanted to hear for sure. Somebody's website somewhere must have that info.

Maybe someone should call the AKL or ask a CM? Then we could get lots of different answers! JK, LOL

I will be booking a suite later today if one is available for our dates, (just for a night or two so we can do the safari--won't book it if safari is full though) and I will ask the CM about the views. Really the only reason we want to book a suite instead of a regular concierge room is because they can't guarantee a savanna view for those rooms--but hopefully they will for the suites. I will post what I hear in reply.

Well, I decided not to splurge for the one bedroom this year.

chamonix & budwmn - Here's what I found out while searching on the web.

The Luxury Guide to Walt Disney World website http://www.luxurydisneyguide.com/accom_aka.htm seems to imply that all suite have savanna views

From the website:
Room tip: My only hesitation in booking a concierge-level room would be the disappointment in not receiving a room with a view of the savanna. Most rooms have a savanna view, but a few come with a view of the pool; you won't know until check-in which type you will be receiving. Until Disney changes its policy to separate the rooms with two different levels of pricing, I would stick with a nonconcierge Deluxe Savanna View or a Savanna View Suite.
