Question for 999ghosts

I saw your response in another thread so I hope you can answer my question. I called and booked our $99 fall cruise this last week. We had two category 8 staterooms and received a voucher in both rooms. We lost one of our vouchers and I told the CM. She said to send in the one that we did have and put both reservation numbers from January on the voucher. She said since they can confirm that we actually did sail in January and had two rooms there would not be a problem. Now I am worried. Do you think they will charge us full price for one of the rooms? How will I know, as my payment is due tommorrow and I am paying in full. What should I do?

I'm not 999ghosts, but I was wondering the same thing. They should be able to match each $99 reservation in the fall back to one reservation in Jan. If they get more than one $99 reservation associated with a January cruise, they should know something is wrong.

When I booked my cabin, the CM looked up my January sailing date and knew the number of passengers and made sure it didn't exceed the number for the fall $99 special. I did send in the voucher though, as requested.

I made the payment for my $99 cruise over the phone at the same time that I booked it so I know the amount that they charged me and it matches up.

A suggestion to verify the price charged would be to go on the DCL Website and click on the 'Reservations' in the banner or the little suitcase above Captain Mickey. On the next page, click on 'Check on my Reservation' and then on the next page, enter your DCL Reservation number and your phone number and it will display the info they have, including the amount due. You should have one reservation number per cabin. You can check your reservation online even if you used a Travel Agent.

Another way to check the amount charged if you're paying by credit card through the mail, you could check with the credit card company itself by phone, or call DCL and ask them.
