Question for 4th of July Ressies...

I have ADR for July 4th at Le Cellier in Canada/Epcot. My question is this. Can I make an alternate ressie for somewhere outside a park??? We are staying at the Swan. I'm concerned that we won't get into Epcot for dinner if it's too crowded. I've read on the theme park board that they sometimes have to close the parks due to crowds. Any suggestions??

i would suggest getting into the park a few hours before your ADR. we had reservations at Le Cellier a few years back for july 4th and still had a wait. you might be able to get something else outside of the park ,but it might be iffy. good luck!

You know we have one at the Garden Grill for that night. If it doesn't work out I am guessing that we'll just do room service(although I anticipate a LOOOOONG wait on that day) Last year we were able to get into Epcot later in the day no problem. But 2 years ago we could not. So it all depends on where everyone goes and what level of crowds you get. Staying onsite puts you around the 3rd or 4th group that gets cut out. So I think you are in pretty good shape.
