Can I put my carry-on bag under my feet on the plane? I've only flown once and I did that, but wanted to make sure it was ok with this airline.

Not under your feet - under the seat in front of you. Unless you're in the bulkhead (front) row, in which case there IS no seat in front of you and all bags have to be stored in the overhead compartment during takeoff and landing. The Flight Attendants will let you know.
