Our daughter will be taking her first trip to Disney later this year for her 2nd birthday! We've been before but there are a lot of different things to think about now that we have a toddler in tow.

We are staying on site and using Disney Transportation for the majority of our trip but we will be venturing out several times using buses and taxis.

I wasn't intending lugging a car seat with me but do I need to do so for when we use taxis?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Jo :confused3

Please forgive the lack of abbrievations - I'll learn them all eventually!

Jo Welcome to the DIS

I can't help with this, someone should be along soon ;)

Glad you are here to join us though!!:bounce:

Florida law states all children under 5 have to be fitted into a child restraint. It may be worth calling around a few cab companies to see if they will provide them on request. I wouldnt fancy lugging one all that way for one or two trips. Its an interesting question, and I will be interested in the outcome of this.

Im sure any taxi company working in and around WDW HAS to be child friendly, and Im sure at least one will have this covered. Maybe try faxing your resort and see if they can tell you.

Good luck.
Allie
