Question @ changing PS

I have ressies for our week-long stay for 4 people...3 adults 1 child. Now grandma can't go. Will I be able to just drop one adult, or are they going to make me "rebook" with a different confirmation #?

I just called them last night to drop one person and she just noted on the computer, no change in the confirmation number. We also added one person to another PS of ours and she did the same thing.
