I am just curious as to whether Disney plans to do away with the physical photopass cards in the near future? I have read that you can now have your photopass+ card linked to you magic band so you can view the pictures online, but are there plans to do away with the cards all together?

I was going to pre-purchase an account and distribute cards to my family members for our trip next fall - and link them to one account. If you have to use the bands to take pics I will not be able to link multiple people to one account ( and if they are in a different park than me on a certain day I bet using one account wouldn't work? )

I'd imagine that as (eventually if not today) long as you are "friends" you can see magic band photos on someone elses account. What better way to have more people buy the same pictures over and over again?

I thought they only gave you one PP+ card per order? People have been asking how to share it among groups on the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies Board.

Yes with pp+ you only get one card but you can still link the regular pp cards to it

so at the attractions you need to show that ONE card- but you can pick up as many normal free cards as you want and add them to your account.

Also if your group splits up and only one has the PP+ card apparently the other group just needs to remember/write down the picture numbers and then you can go by later on that day with the PP+ card and the picture numbers and have them to their thing.

Yep, that's what I thought.;)

Went to EPCOT Sat night for a few rides and forgot my PP+ in the room. I asked at Test Track if there was a code or something I could get to add it. He said no but if I knew my PP+ number he could type it in the system. If that is true then have everyone take a photo of the number on the PP+ card and see if they can just show that to the CM. I didn't try but that was what I was told and it makes sense.
