Question: Annual Passholder Discount Timing After Closing

We just completed closing today on a small SSR contract. We've been told that in approximately 5-7 days, we should appear in Disney's system. We are going to WDW on August 12th, and would like to buy Annual Passes at that time. Will we be able to get the discount, even if (I'm presuming they won't have arrived by then) our membership packets haven't arrived in the mail?

Call MS in about a week and see if you are in the system yet. Once in the system, you can go to the DVC Preview Center at SSR and they can make membership cards for you there. You will then be able to get the DVC member discount on the APs.

You need your membership card (and a photo id) to buy the discounted pass. Since it's unlikely you'll have your membership card before August 12, you can just go to the DVC Sales Center at SSR. They can print a temporary card forr you and then you'll be good to go.
