Question after making final payment...

I paid off our package today. So happy!!

We are staying at POR, and I requested the Mansions (nothing specific) and paid for a garden view room. I rec'd the confirmation of payment and the email said -- standard view room w/trundle bed!

I was surprised and called CRO. The CM that I spoke with told me that it was in Alligator Bayou. (I suspected that.) I asked her to re-request the Mansions for me, and she said that she would. Besides, as I told her, we are only a family of 4 and don't want to take availability for a room for 5 away from someone who needs it!

Does anyone know why this would be attached to our room? I didn't think they assigned rooms until just before arrival. We're not going to be there until 1/6.

I would call CRO again and re-confirm the request and ask they send you another confirmation.

I have no idea why you would have a location assignment attached to your room. My concern was that you paid for a garden view and they gave you a standard! I hope the CM straightened that out for you! Did you request a refurbished room - they look great!

I have no idea why you would have a location assignment attached to your room. My concern was that you paid for a garden view and they gave you a standard! I hope the CM straightened that out for you! Did you request a refurbished room - they look great!

I know! I was surprised when I saw standard room w/trundle!! When I called for the original ressie, I did request Mansions because I knew they'd be refurbed before we got there.
