Question about XD card

Hi guys, I'm a long time reader but have never posted. I have a question just purchased an Olympus digital camera and don't understand about the memory card. Do you have to get an Olympus xD card or will any brand of card like Fuji etc. work? Thanks so much!

Arieyellow- You can use any brand XD card out there. Some have better reviews than others, but other than that, you don't have to use Olympus's card. There are some great prices online too if you search around. Also, I would reccommend buying a card that can hold more because those pics take up alot of space. It is much easier to have one card that you can store alot of pics on then having to carry an extra card with you etc. That is just my opinion, others may differ.

There is a feature only available with the Olympus XD card and that is to create panoramic images. I bought a Fuji XD card and it works just fine in my Olympus too.
