We are only having a few people at our actual wedding ceremony. But we are having two receptions. We are having one in Florida for our friends and family that live there as well as one in Ohio where most of them are.

Thanks to weedee I have the perfect wording for our Wedding Announcement/ at home reception invitation. However, I'm finding the Florida invitation much more difficult. We have reservations for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show for our guests that will be attending the wedding plus those we could not invite to the ceremony. I want it to be clear that the invitation is just for the dinner, the tricky part is that its the same day. Any suggestions on how to word the invitation would be greatly appreciated!!

Could you call it a post wedding celebration/dinner. We have evening
receptions in the uk, and invite people not invited to the day they are worded something similar to this:

Miss Karyn Alters and Mr Brian Johnson
request the pleasure of
your company
at an evening reception
to celebrate their marriage
at The Grand Hotel,
Teignmouth
on Saturday 7th November, 2009
at 7pm

My suggestion would be to do separate invitation packages for people depending on what they're invited to. Include a ceremony invitation and reception card(s) in those that are invited to everything, and send the reception only invite to those who are not invited to the ceremony.

Thank you Tiggeriffic... that helped :)
