Question about WOC dessert party time

My confirmation says to check in at least an hour before the reservation time. It also says that the show will start approximately 60 minutes after the reservation time. My reservation time is 915. Does this mean I need to check in at 8:15, the dessert party starts at 9:15, but the actual show doesn’t start until around 1015? I tried doing an online chat with a Disney cast member, but did not get a straight answer.

I could be wrong, but based on how I read things for my reservation, the party starts an hour before the show but you want to get there early to get checked in and seated. This is my first time going so I could be totally wrong but that’s how I read it.

For the 10:15pm show you likely won't be seated until 9:45 since they have to turn over from the 1st show that starts at 9pm.

It's my understanding that if you have second show reservations, you can check in at the same time as the first show and get your table assignment. Then return at the time they tell you and go to your table

This! I booked my WOC and have been looking up info about when to get there (mine is at 9:15) as well. It does sound like for the later show we can go check in with the first show and pick our table. They will give us a wrist band and we can return closer to show time to be seated (9:15). That's going to be my plan unless I see something else different!
