Question about WL parking

We will be heading to Disney on March 3rd and have reservations at the WL for 3 nights. Since we live in Florida, we are driving up that morning and going directly to MK (meeting up with out of town friends). Since check-in isn't until 3pm I wanted to find out if we can park at the WL and leave our bags with the hotel and take the boat straight over the MK? I don't see why we couldn't do that, but I wanted to check to make sure. Thanks.

If you are staying at the resort, yes you can. We usually arrive way before check in and always at the WL. We never had any problems doing this. Just show your reservation sheet at the front gate.

You can also go ahead and check in. Your room probably won't be ready yet, but they will give you a number that you can call later to get your room number (or you can check when you get back).

"Check-in at 3 PM" doesn't mean that you're not allowed to check in until 3 PM. It just means that your room may not be ready until 3 PM. You can check in at any time.

The other thing to remember is that by checking in early you may get a better location of your room. I have nothing scientific to support this other than personal experience - when we checked in late - we got rooms far far away and when we checked in early (even before 3) we received better locations.

You should definitely check in first. Like other said you probably won't be able to get in your room but you can get your room key with you park tickets and charging privledges on them. Then you can just come back from the park and go right to your room.
