Question about WL and Epcot

Calling all WL frequent guests. When going to Epcot from WL, do you...

1. Take the boat to MK, take the monorail to TTC, take the monorail to Epcot

OR

2. Take the bus to Epcot

Suggestions anyone?

If I just want to get to EPCOT, the bus is much quicker and easier. However, there are times when riding the boat and monorail is an event unto itself and I'll go that way.

As this poster stated, we do the same. We're on property for at least 9 nights and like changing our tranportation methods around. We have done the boat to CR and boarded the monorail to the Ttc and boarded the EPCOT monorail for a nice long ride, we like the monorail and we've taken the bus there too. Either way you get there and to us time is not an issue, just having fun and using all the options makes us happy.

In early Dec, the bus to Epcot & the one to MGM both made stops @ FW campground before heading to parks, took at least 45 min to get to the gate area.

I have stayed at WL many times and if I'm not in a hurry, I take the bus to MGM. I then take the boat from MGM to the International Gateway at Epcot. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes. The boat stops at S/D, YC/BC and the boardwalk before Epcot. I like to sit outside on the boat and enjoy the ride.

This is so funny, my DD11 and I play the "what's the least efficient way to get from point A to point B at WDW without backtracking" game a lot. There are some fun ways to get all over.

I hated the bus system at WL, but to go to EPCOT, the bus was quicker than the boat/monorail. There were times we'd go to FW, Poly and GF before getting to our destination.

We take the boats and monorails whenever possible. It's just so much more enjoyable than the buses.
