Question About Windsor Palms

This is a question for those of you who have stayed in Windsor Palms. We are staying there June 13-19 through All-Star Vacation Homes.
How was the drive to Disney?
A post on another thread said that there is a water treatment plant is nearby- how bad is the smell? And should I try to change my reservation?

This is a first trip for several in my family and I want to make this a great vacation. Thanks in advance for all your advice.

I have stayed at WP many times on the conservation side of Sun Palm Drive, the only time I noticed anything was about 4-5 years ago when there was work being done at the plant. Other than that, nothing (& I do check everything I go because of the comments).

I wouldn't change.

Stayed 2005 2006 and 2007, it was fine ! in fact we loved it ! we stayed in a town house as there was just 3 of us. The community pool etc is lovely. The drive to disney was quick and easy.... about 15 mins... but alot of that is on disney property !! LOL ie driving thorugh their arches etc, that road is LONG !!


i would keep the booking if I was you. Judt 5 nmins drive from WP is an outback and a supermarket and subway. we loved this, so easy to pick up bits and pieces on way out or back to appt.

Have you looked for driving route, using googlemap? That will help .

We stayed in Windsor Palms in May 2008 and had no problems. In fact, we loved it so much that we're coming back in May 2010. Quiet, lovely place. I highly recommend it!

I'm thrilled to hear this. We're staying there in August and I just heard about the treatment plant - didn't know what to make of that!
