Question about wedding transportation & Wilderness Lodge

Hi there!

We still have a bit of a way off from starting our official planning, but I can't resist!

We are definately doing an Escape package.

We are still deciding on whether to have our ceremony at Sea Breeze Point at Boardwalk or the Sunrise Terrace at the Wilderness Lodge.

Where is the ceremony spot at the Wilderness Lodge? We recently took a visit to WL, but couldn't figure out where it was.

We definately want to do a lunch at the Garden View Tea Lounge at GF.

About transportation: if you opt not to use the limo service, will they deduct that price from your bill? If we do WL, I would prefer to take the boat over to GF. I can't see us really using the limo at all.

Hi! The ceremony spot at WL is the fourth-floor balcony overlooking the pool, the geyser and the lake. It is beautiful! Unfortunately, it only holds 10 people, including the bride and groom.

Disney won't credit you for any part of the Escape package you don't use, but I have heard of people using the 4 hours of limo transport during another part of their stay, like to go to Downtown Disney. I just don't know if they officially will let you do this or someone just got lucky....

Thanks for that info....maybe we would find another use for it. I'd love to use it to bring us to and from the airport, but I doubt they'd let us do that-?

You can use the 4 hour portion of the limo at a different time. I did this for our wedding/honeymoon trip - we used the limo to take us from checking out at the Poly to checking in at the wilderness Lodge, we then went Mini-Golfing, got lunch and drove around for our time

To & from the airport is a definate no, right?

We aren't huge fans of DTD, except maybe for dinner on a different night of our stay. We don't play mini-golf....
my BFF has hinted that she might be getting us a massage package as our gift so we could use the limo for that.

What I'm wondering is if we could use it for several mini trips, like take us from our ceremony to our reception at GF (short drive) and transport to and from parks that night. Maybe use it towards dinner reservations at a resort or something?

Is it available for our entire vacation or just the day of our ceremony?

you have to use it in one 4 hour chunk sometime during your wedding trip...no breaking it up among different days

Arggh! Oh well, I guess it's not that big of a deal. If we use it, we will, if we don't end up using the whole time, I guess it will be fine.
