Question about WDW/DL park tickets.

Okay, so I have been trying all kinds of scenarios to get to DL this summer. My daughters (3,8) are very excited but my DD3 (will be 4 in April) is bummed if she doesn't go to WDW. So, I thought, well, I could drive down to WDW, fly from Orlando to SNA (the flight schedule and cost of flight is better from there), stay at DL four nights, then fly back to WDW and stay there five nights. In terms of travel cost, it would be less expensive then for us to fly directly to SNA from Asheville even with the gas and wear on the car.

So... I was looking at my Mousesavers monthly update and clicked on the link to Disneyland info and it said that you could use WDW tickets at DL but not vice versa so.... my thought is that I purchase 10 day WDW hoppers for the three of us and I can use them at both resorts? It sounds too good to be true but that would pretty much seal the deal on my plan. The girls would be thrilled, as would I. I had a great discount for my days at WDW that were already booked for those dates in August.

Please say it is so!!!

Thanks!

Oh, and I should have asked.... would I need to have used at least a day at WDW first on the tickets or can they start fresh at DL?

Fingers crossed.

Oh, and can I still by my WDW tickets from my usual discounter, Undercover Tourist or would I need to get these directly from Disney to avoid and problems.

Thanks anyway. I think I've found the answer my question on the WDW board. I think it's going to work out wonderfully.

All I can say is "Wow! Lucky kids!"

Yes, you can use multi-day PH WDW tickets at DLR. Here's how:

You take the WDW PH to the gate at DLR. They will deduct 1 day and give you a 1 day PH DLR pass. For each day that you want to go to DLR, you will need to do this. They will not do it for more than one day at a time.

Now, just FYI, it's not in your economic best interest to do it this way. 1 day at DLR costs less than 1 day at WDW. However, depending upon how many days you are buying at WDW, I guess you will have to price it out and figure out your best option.

WDW and DLR in one trip - WOW!

Fun, fun, fun,

Thanks so much for your answer! Actually, it is in our best economic interest to do it this way because after four days on a pass at WDW it is only about 4 dollars a day for each additional day up to 10. Give or take. So... by doing this we will save in the ballpark of $400 or more. Almost the cost of our hotel stay. :thumbsup2
