Question about warnings

Well I got my first warning tonight! The one about giving out personal info.
But, the kicker was it was given after I had been playing the Space game after playing the Jungle Cruise game, and had NOT talked to anyone at all during those times. I hadn't even been on for a few hours before that.
Have any of you gotten warnings a long time after you had been talking with other people on the game?
I mentioned something about a friend this afternoon and him reading the disboards, but was discussing it with another dis person, either disivyco or Pixiebecca (don't remember which one it was) (Btw, parents of those two, both are very nice kids!)
I just wonder if that could've triggered it.
But, I had just also sent them a message about a problem with my nephew that happened to day. Not a problem for us, but a problem with VMK staff apparently.
I have a family/friends teleporter room, and he wanted to take back a teleporter to a room of his and replace it with another teleporter to a different room. They sent him a message saying he had to give it back. So I sent them a message saying that I had given it to him freely and that I didn't mind the moving of the teleporter.
I can't imagine that anyone would be that crazy to send a warning because of that?
They sure have some crazy things going on these days.....

Just about everyone got that one today- I got it and hadn't been doing anything at the time. I logged in as my dd to get her credits and when i entered the Materhorn it was there- so certainly no personal info shared at that point.

SO I think they just want to do that to crack down on a lot of recent infractions- both small and large of people giving out personal information.

It may come to the fact of having [dis] in our signatures would be too much information... but you never know.

I wouldn't be too worried about it- but just remember that when you are talking to people not to say too much about yourself in real life.

Everyone got those warnings today.

I got the warning twice today. Once this afternoon and once this evening.

And both times, both my main char and my mule got it at the same time.

I received my first warning today too....as my person returned to the J C dock...poof...it appeared - about not giving personal information out. I had not said a word to anyone in probably over an hour...just nedding along, minding my own business.

Well that info is nice to know. They have been so crazy lately, that I thought they'd really lost it! I just couldn't imagine. After them banning my nephew's main character all because of inexperienced typing, and saying they HAD sent him a warning (which he never saw), I had begun to wonder. I can't imagine them taking that long to send one....

When I was at fireworks, there was a warning to the entire room about giving out personal info in the form of email addys and messenger screennames. It must've been done to all the rooms/areas, because the only thing anyone was talking about was Hidden Mickeys, LOL.

this certainly makes me feel better. i also got one today while i was by myself working on stuff in my room! lol. i thought "i have not talked to anyone? how could i be giving out personal info?"

I got the pop-up warning last night at about 10:30, while I was on Jungle Cruise. I had just logged on and hadn't talked to anyone at all, even when I was on earlier in the day. I don't know if they are just doing the warnings for everyone occasionally or if they are doing it system wide when they have to warn anyone, but it can't have been in response to anything I said.

I was irritated, though, because I was trying to get on the high scores list and the warning caused me to miss a few animals.
