I don't think this is the textbook walking of a reservation where you drop a day and add a day each day, but might be similar.
If I have enough current UY points for 7 nights (so no banking or borrowing involved), but only want 3 nights - could I make a 7 day reservation 4 days ahead of time and keep dropping off the first night until I had the 3 nights I want?
Example - Reservation wanted - 8/5/12 to 8/8/12 (3 nights)
So I call on 9/1/11 and make a reservation for 8/1/12 - 8/8/12 (7 nights). On 9/2/11 I call and drop the night of 8/1/12, on 9/3/11 I drop the night of 8/2/12, etc.
There wouldn't be any penalty (like holding or losing the remaining nights) doing this, right?
Thanks
