Question about visitors at the VGC

We are staying at the the VGC and we have friends that are travelling with us staying at a hotel down Harbour - we are wondering if it's ok that they come to our villa every night for dinner and maybe even use the pool. And by this I mean are guests allowed to visit and hang with us if they are with us? They can just come through the DD entrance and come up to our room?

We just left VGC and had a cousin over for dinner. She just told the person at the self parking lot they were visiting us in our villa and had no issues parking for free.

If u stay in a villa u get 2 parking passes. Anyone can come to visit but only registered guests can use the pool...

Yes, anyone can visit you and personally I don't see a problem with them joining you at the pool. I've stayed at VGC numerous times as a solo traveler and invited a few friends to hang out with me at the pool area. Yes, I stayed with them the entire time at the pool to drink, lounge, soak and hang out.

So they don't have a vehicle so not worried about parking. Just want them to be able to come over for dinners and thought also they could be at the pool with us. But if that's not allowed I don't want to get into trouble...

I don't know if the rules are different for VCG, but in all other instances, the pools are for registered guests' use only. I have never been asked, but others have reported having been asked to show a room key for each member of the party at the pool. It may be worth a call to the hotel though.

I see no reason why they couldn't come to your villa with you. We've had friends come up for a drink when we stayed at the GCH.

Depending on the size of your villa and the number of people staying you could always add them so that using the pool is ok. That is if you don't already have the max number of people on your reservation.
