Question About Visiting Resorts and Parking

Personally I have always found the first week of December to be a great time to go and not deal with crowds.

Park attendance does not necessarily reflect the occupancy levels at the resorts. Many resorts are sold out at Disney and this is a very busy week for Disney Vacation Club resorts too as guests come to enjoy low park attendance and beautiful decorations.

I always get great rates at the resorts too during that week. That's the week we visit for the holiday season. Never been crowded anywhere for us.
I am not sure that any of this is important to the OP though or anyone else really.

I think your best bet dpic is to call the Poly and see what their advice is about where to park. If they don't want you to park in one of their spaces because the hotel happens to be relatively full, then just take skiwee's advice and park at the TTC and walk over. No big deal at all. Have a great time and enjoy the fireworks! :goodvibes

One thing I wouldn't do, though, is take away a beach seat or swing from a Poly guest. Sand? There's plenty of sand for everyone.

You can always stand on my brick that lies behind the beach between Poly and GF. I'll rent ya' the space if you like. ;)

:rotfl2:Yeah? But does it come with parking?:rotfl:

I still like skiwee1's thought about parking in the TTC. Since it will be after 8:00 pm there should be decent parking. As far as the Poly beach being reserved for Poly guests--I'm sorry if I was a little put off in my response. One, the comment reminded me of way too many pool hopping threads, and, two I never mentioned watching the fireworks from the beach in the first place. In all honesty, I'll probably stay on the sidwalk or boat dock since I don't want sand inside the new d-slr.

I'm not sure about simply turning up and wanting to sit on the beach  . I can't see them allowing you parking for that, at least, I hope they don't.
See the above. Thank-you for your kind response.

If you have the Disney Dining Experience card your valet parking is free at resort if you have an ADR.

The last 2 times we were there (last time just 3 weeks ago) we stayed at WL. We were able to get into other resort parking lots for dinner, including Poly and CR, just by showing our WL parking permit. No hassle at all.
