Question about visiting a water park on a Saturday

Hi! Just wondering if anyone remembers having done a water park on a Saturday in the summer. Is a Saturday in the summer at BB a night mare or can I attempt it??

I know Saturday is reported to be generally crowded with locals etc. and many people suggest going to a water park earlier in the week because most visitors are in the major parks then. However, we are going the 4th of July week, which I know will be crowded all over all week. I tried very hard to arrange our schedule to get to a water park on a Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, but I just can not seem to do it. We arrive on a Sunday and Monday(July3) I want to go to MK because I want to spend the whole day there(except for break at Ohana's for dinner) and see the fireworks they have. Tuesday is the 4th of July and I figure the water parks on the 4th will probably be packed with locals. Has anyone done a water park on the 4th of July? I figured we would sleep in a little on the 4th and stay at SAB all day and then go to MGM for fireworks.

I am sorry this is long and thank anyone for any advice they can give on visiting a water park on a Saturday(July 8th) in the summer or on the 4th of July. Right now with ADR's and planned parks, those are my only 2 choices of days for a water park. Any advice would be appreciated.

THANKS!! I can not believe I have been fooling around with this itinerary for a few months now and still do not have it completed. :sunny:

It's been awhile ('01) but we went to a water park on a Saturday, right around the 4th of July. My only suggestion is to get there early, we didn't.

i urge anyone going on July 4th weekend to take avantage of EE to all parks
WDW is very crowded and all parks fill up early especially water parks

I agree that it will be crowded - we went in July one year and on the day that it was sprinkling and raining, we went to TL and there was almost no one there. We didn't have to wait in any lines. We figured we were going to get wet anyway so why not do a water park.

So maybe look at a weather forcast once you arrive and be flexible with changing days of your plan.

Sorry I don't mean to be a pain, but would love to hear from others. Anyone else? Thanks!! :sunny: Thank you to everyone who responded so far.

Hi! I remember when I first saw that word bumping here and had no idea.

It means just moving the thread back up toward the beginning so that more people may have a chance to read it and respond. On this board, so many people post per day that threads easily get pushed to the 2nd and even 3rd page in one day. Have a good night! :)

I'm sorry - what is "bumping"? karen

Keeping a thread on the first page so it doesn't get lost. If you want to make sure other people see your thread, you keep bumping it up to the first page!
