Question about Veils?

My wedding is fast approaching (2 weeks from tomorrow), gulp, and I still haven't decided on a veil. Initially I wasn't planning on wearing one at all but now I'm second guessing my decision.

I know that I do not want anything traditional. I've been looking at some hand made birdcage veils on Etsy and I really like them. My problem though is twofold. First, I don't really want it facing forward (covering my forehead) rather facing backward. Do you think that would look silly?? My hair is super fine and on the thin side. I am having it curled and left down but I'm not sure it will hold a comb. Beaute Speciale is doing my hair and I've heard they can work miracles.

I'm at the point where I'm so frazzled I can't make any decisions.

Any suggestions?

they do indeed work miracles! i rethought my head gear choices close to the date as well, and etsy may not be timely enough for you? but i revisited the local davids bridal, where i bought a simple birdcage veil on a comb for like $30, and they had a nifty head band with some poofs on it (not too much) and some blusher length, but skinny, veils on combs. the head thing was like $40, each little veil was $20 and i bought 2. you can do the headband idea with the blusher turned any which way - and the head band was comfprtable and the girls anchored alot of my hair around it (my hair is pretty wavy and sort of thick, but short). i had also tried it with head band and then the 2 veil poofs stacked at the crown. they held well with the 2 combs.
they really can work wonders, don't be afraid to show them a couple things you like in the way of accessories and see what they can do!

Or depending on the style of your dress, you could do flowers or feathers. That would follow along with you wanting something non-traditional.

You could always get one (don't forget to use a 40% off coupon!), and play around with it and if you don't like it, return it. Although I have never seen anyone with a birdcage veil (so I don't know how they really function, how they would look forward), the description talks about how it can be flipped backwards for your kiss or dancing, so I'm sure it will look beautiful whichever way you wear it!

Just remember that its your day, and however you want to wear your accessories is up to you! I understand the completely frazzled thing - I'm 5 weeks away and have so many things to tie up! Hang in there, and I hoped this helped!
