We have three days left from our no expiration tickets from 2005. I would like to use these up during our trip in 3 weeks so we won't have 2 sets of tickets when we come back home. (We also bought extra days on this trip with the no expiration for a future trip) If we enter the park with our old tickets will we have any problems using our free dining dredits in the park? I didn't know if it would show up that we didn't use our current tickets to enter the park.

you shouldn't have a problem. The dining credits are tied to your room, not your tickets. Just make you sure you bring a room keycard with you even though you aren't using it for park admission.

Are the old tickets also Magic Your Way room keys from a previous trip? If so, they're going to look identical to the new keys, with the exception of the dates printed on the front. You'll need to carry both cards on the days you'll be using the old ones. One for park entry and FastPasses, the other for dining, room charges, EMH wristbands, and room key.

Since you'll be carrying both keys with you, make sure everyone's using the same tickets at the turnstiles as one-another each day to keep straight how many days are on each one. (There's no visual indication on the key as to how many days have been used.) Also, if you park hop, make sure no one gets confused and puts the wrong ticket in at the second park. It'll wind up costing you 2 days and you won't even realize it.

I'd suggest using a sharpie to mark each of your existing cards in some way to make it harder to get them confused.

Thanks for the advice! :sunny: The old tickets are the paper kind, they weren't on our room key last year since we purchased them at the Epcot front gate. I am guessing that this years tickets will be on our room key. So that will make it easier to keep up with.

So ,if we use the old tickets to get in the park will we use our room key or the old ticket to get fastpasses? :confused3

The ticket you use at the front gate turnstile is the ticket you need to use for the FastPasses. It won't give you a FastPass for a ticket that hasn't been used for entry on that date. You'll get a "NOT A VALID FASTPASS" if you try.

That's also why you can't send an early bird person to the parks ahead of everyone else in your group to snag the first FastPasses. You can't get a FastPass with a ticket unless the system has seen someone enter the park with it that day.
