Question about using dining plan credits w/split reservation on re-check in day

We have 13 nights booked w/free dining, 9/25-10/7, 3 people. Since there was a 10 night limit, we have 2 reservations for the same resort - 9 nights & 4 nights, but have to check out/back in on 10/4.

When I made the ADRs I totally forgot that the first 27 credits will expire at midnight 10/4, and that we will get another set of 12 starting 10/4. I just based it on 39 credits.

If I understand everything correctly, I'll still be able to use credits from either set on 10/4. (Right?) Of course, our only Signature Restaurant falls on that day, needing 6 credits. If I have 5 credits left from the first set, and 1 credit from the new set, am I going to totally confuse the CM?

Just wanting someone to confirm what I think I know, because if I'm wrong I need to try to redo some ADRs. :flower:

From what you explained, I don't think you should have a problem. Your credits from the first reservation will be good until midnight of "check-out"day and since your credits for your new "check-in"day begin right as you check-in, you'll be able to use both cards for that day only and then of course, the next day, only use your "new" reservation room card.

We are in a slightly similar situation. We are staying for 11 nights so we have the dining plan for 10 nights only, but it will be good until midnight of our last night so that works out great for us.

I just have one question, out of curiousity. How come you have two reservations 1) 9 nights and 2) 4 nights? Why didn't they do it like this: 1) 10 nights and 2) 3 nights? Not that it matters, but it just seemed strange to me when I read your thread that they didn't do it like that!

Anyway, hope this helps!

Thanks abacobaby. :flower:

The reason they split it 9 & 4 is that 10/4 is the last check in day to get the free dining, so if it was 10 & 3 we wouldn't have had free dining for the last 3 days.
