question about using debit cards

Oky well sorry if this questions sounds dumb and all, but I was wondering if you could use a debit card in place of a credit card when you use your KTTW?

I do not know the answer for you, I would also like to know. I would assume that as long as it as a visa or other typeof credit card logo on it we could use it. Of course as long as you have the money in your accout That would be my take on it as you can use it everywhere when it says visa on it. Maybe someone else can give us a definate answer. THANKS

I used one on my cruise last June and planning to use it again in Sept. for our cruise. My debit card has the MasterCard logo on it and it worked fine. No problems at all.

I used my debit card, which is a Debit MasterCard, on both of my previous cruises with absolutely no problem (and no bills to pay when I got home LOL), and will use it again this time. I don't have a credit card.

I used mine. It has a VISA logo. You should call your bank and find out if you have a daily limit on the card. Most banks try to set a daily limit in case your card is stolen. If you think it is too low, ask your bank manager to increase it for you.

I used my credit card on our first land and sea in Feb. of 2000. They billed my card the last day of land and the night before disembarking the ship. I used my debit card (visa) logo the last time (Nov. 2002) becaue I knew I would find a reason not to pay it off with the hollidays right around the corner. They billed my debit card every day. There is a limit on debit cards I think that's why it was billed every day.....unless DCL changed their policies in those two years.

We just went on our first cruise earlier this month and I was wondering the same thing so I called Disney direct. They told me that you can pay with credit card, debit card, cash, or personal check. So we took cash. BTW we own an RSX typeS also

We also used our debit card on the last trip without any problems. I found out that if the charges are put through as "credit" charges, and not debits using a PIN number, then the daily limit is not an issue. Your can charge as much as you have in your account.
