Question about use year

Ive completely confused myself. We purchased in 2009 but never travel in the summer. I currently have no 2018 points. I want to book a trip for July 2018 but need to borrow my 2019 points. I need to book at my 7 month mark which would be Jan. If my use year is March does that mean I can’t book until March? Thanks! April

If we had to wait for points to be in the year and month you and your points you’re in, I wouldn’t be able to make my February 2018 trip plans using feb UY points until February 2018. Given that I made that reservation in March 2017, that’s just not true.

Ok! Thank you SO much... I was concerned that my 2019 points wouldn’t be able to even be booked on until March. We go around 3-4 times a year but it’s never in the summer and it’s always after my use year month.

Points are deposited into your account 3 years in advance because cruises can be booked 2 years ahead. You never have to wait for a "deposit". Which use year points are used depends on the date of stay.
