Question about UPH policy

I really liked using UPH this year but I am used to getting an AP discount on the room. I noticed on the Disney website that they do not say that everyone in the room has to buy a UPH and I know that they used to . Have they changed the policy because I would love to use my AP for the discount and get UPH for everyone else?

If you book a room only package you can do that. The CM at check in is actually assigning the tickets to the ID cards in that situation so you can get whatever you want (for example, if you want a UPH and your friend wants a 5 day hopper plus you can do that). Some of the packages for the rooms include the UPH and that is where you will run into everyone in the room having to have one (and it having to be the exact same ticket), but if you book a room only rate, you can do the tickets however you want (2 people want them 2 people don't...no problem)...
