Question about upgrading tickets....

We are travelling to WDW in December and had a question about Annual Passes. We are in the process of planning our next trip after this, but are not sure if it will be exactly within 1 year. What we are trying to determine is if we decide to go with the typical park hopper pass, but upgrade to Annual Pass during our trip, are we still able get the DVC discount? Thanks.

If you buy the regular park tickets and decide to upgrade it must be done within 14 days of the first use of the tickets. The date on the annual pass will be the first date the original tickets were used. You can get the discount at that time.
