Question about upgrading tickets

I was at WDW in April and we had 7 day Park Hoppers. Does anyone know if we can now upgrade those to annual passes? Just bought into SSR and are returning sooner than we thought.

Did you use the hoppers? If Yes I would not upgrade and save the days for a later time. If not then go ahead.

Basically after a pass is used, disney prorates the days.
