We are flying into MCO with United and I have looked on their website but am unable to find an answer.

Are booster seats free to take along? Not in the aircraft but as checked luggage. Does this count towards allowances? Or is it free like strollers?

For referance purposes it is one of the small ones without a back.

thnx

Strollers and car seats can be sent as checked luggage free of charge. They do not count towards your luggage allotment. It's best to wrap them in a plastic bag before you go to the airport, or at the airport if you have to use them on your way there.

Can you provide a link for this? I called United yesterday and they told me it counts towards our checked baggage. IF thats right it would be cheaper to buy them and leave them behind.
