Question about Ultimate park hoppers

Just one quick question about the ultimate park hopper tickets.

I know it says that these are available for the length of stay at the Disney Resorts....

My question is, can you purchase one of these tickets for a length that is shorter than your actual length of stay?

For instance: I am going to be staying at CSR for 4 days and 3 nights..... Do I have to buy a UPH for that time period, or can i lets say buy one for 2 days and 1 night if that is all I need?

No - UPH tickets must be purchased for the entire length of your stay, with one exception. If you purchase the UPH at check in, you are sometimes allowed to drop the day of arrival or the day of departure. It's up to the discretion of the CM. (You are never allowed to drop a day in the middle of your stay. Occasionally, you hear of people being able to drop both the day of arrival and the day of departure, but that is truly an exception to the policy and is rare).

If you purchase the UPH in advance, you cannot drop any days at all. However, there is a discount for purchasing the tickets in advance.

Sometimes you can get around the rule by making more than one reservation for your stay. For example, if you wanted a ticket for the last two days of your stay, you could make a reservation for two nights and another separate reservation for the last night. Purchase the UPH only for the last reservation. If you do that, you may have to change rooms or check in and out again.
