Question about Trip Insurance

I asked this on the Theme Park board but was thinking that it might better fit here.

We are DVC Members and will be bringing the whole family to WDW in September. We will have 3 rooms, all on points. We will all fly down together.

I am interested in getting trip insurance because of the time of year (Hurricanes) and because our son is Active duty Military, and you just never know.

Does anyone have suggestions on insurance companies? Advice? Past experiences?

If we were to have to cancel our trip, I wonder how an insurance company would deal with the fact that we pay for our hotel room with points not dollars?????? Any ideas?

DVC can give you information on travel insurance specifically for points stays. It is $79 per use year and reimburses your dues on the points you lose in addition to coverage for medical or transportation expense.
